As we venture through life, whether we like it or not we need to deal with money and the consequences of our financial decisions. Each stage of life has unique challenges of its own and researchers have found commonality in the issues faced.

The last quarter of 2018 has really begun with an investment bang and a rollercoaster ride of note for the financial markets, with hardly a dull moment to spare. International equity indices such as the Dow Jones have fluctuated wildly over the course of October and November, but overall it has not been a pretty picture with a downward trend most in evidence.

A recent study in America, of 10,000 households that utilized the services of a Financial Advisor, showed that 51% of people interviewed, did not know the cost of the financial service being rendered. Better still, they thought that they were getting their financial advice for free.

Despite their strong convictions and a never-ending plethora of economic data, Financial Advisors cannot guarantee investment returns. This is true no matter what the economic cycle being experienced or the nature of the advice being given.
